In 2022, the Rockefeller Foundation began a new initiative, The Pandemic Prevention Institute. PPI brings together partner organizations from across the world to increase data sharing and improve early detection and reporting of emerging diseases. Their website would be a space to spotlight the work of epidemiologists so it had to be highly legible with typography that could accommodate lengthy, academic articles and offer page templates and components that could easily integrate data visualizations. Ultimately, Rockefeller shifted PPI to the ‘Pandemic Prevention Initiative’ and opted to house its content on their own site. The final, approved designs for the un-launched site are below!
